• Samsung Galaxy F62 Review; a strong phone will not be useful in the future

Samsung’s new Galaxy F62 is the second smartphone in this series in the category of smartphones priced below Rs 30,000. Samsung Galaxy F62 will compete with the Vivo V20 Pro, V20, V20 SE, Realme X7 Pro / X7, OnePlus Nord, Xiaomi Mi10i and Motorola Moto G5G.

The new Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by Samsung’s flagship 7Nm Exynos 9825 processor found in the Galaxy Note 10+, the flagship smartphone of the Samsung Galaxy F62 first impression 2019. The device also has a 7000 mAh battery. Another feature of the device is the 64 MP quad-camera. This device can be seen as the fastest Galaxy smartphone in the price range of Rs 25,000. The device is available in two variants, 6/128GB and 8GB/128GB, through Samsung’s official website and is priced at Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy F62, best features large AMOLED Display:

The large display is one of the best features in the opinion of the Gizbot team that reviewed the Galaxy F62. This is a great screen for playing games and video streaming. This 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED panel produces excellent colours and a great contrast ratio of 1000000: 1. Peak brightness levels can reach up to 420 nits when used in the sun.

Samsung Galaxy F62 has a premium design that does not compromise on the basics. The phone has a strong body. The bezel-less display enhances the front. The rear panel has a laser gradient finish. The phone is available in three colour variants namely Laser Green, Laser Blue and Laser Gray. Despite the large 7000 mAh battery cell, the device is small in size. The weight is only normal. The camera is not mounted on the device. The Galaxy F62 does not compromise on basics. It comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot for storage. The OnePlus Nord and the Realme X7 Pro, which fall into the same category, do not have these two features.

    Best Performance:

There are no major complaints about performance from the Samsung Galaxy F62. The back panel feels hot when shooting 4K videos and playing games. Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is powered by an Exynos 9825 octa-core CPU. The device comes with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. There are two variants with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. For graphics, the phone has a Mali G76MP12 GPU.

The Android 11 out-of-the-box Galaxy F62 smartphone features the latest Android 11 out-of-the-box based OneUI 3.1. This is a big plus for the Galaxy F62 smartphone as the recently released Realme X7-Series is still running on Android 10. This device will definitely get some next updates.

    Samsung Galaxy F62 Disadvantages:

The refresh rate of the display Samsung Galaxy F62 smartphone’s AMOLED display comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, unlike the best-refreshed displays seen on the OnePlus Nord and Realme X7-series phones. The 60Hz AMOLED panel is not bad at all, but this is a drawback when it comes to devices with a high refresh rate display in the price segment of this device.

    No 5G connectivity:

Another major drawback of the Samsung Galaxy F62 smartphone is the lack of 5G connectivity. People who have been using a device for more than a year or two need 5G because buying a phone without 5G would not be beneficial at this point. Devices with a high refresh rate display and 5G connectivity are available in the same price segment.

    Samsung Galaxy F62 attractive features:

The biggest feature of the Samsung Galaxy F62 smartphone is its 7000 mAh battery cell. Despite the power of the large screen and the powerful Exynos 9825 SOC, it is a battery that can be used easily for two days. After streaming videos and playing games, the phone still has a charge after two days of use and it comes with 25W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 is a device that does not focus on whether to buy for the future. Disadvantages of the device are low refresh rate panel and lack of 5G. This smartphone is the choice if you are looking for a heavy-duty battery device that does not compromise on the basics. But there are better devices available in the market for longer users and gamers.
