WhatsApp has added a new feature to the app and has introduced a feature that allows users to join group voice calls or group video calls. You can join group calls by going to the app’s ‘Calls’ tab. This will allow you to rejoin the group between calls, even if your call is interrupted for some reason.
WhatsApp has also introduced a call info screen with a new feature and this allows you to see who is on the call with the users who have not yet joined the call. “Before answering a group call through Joinable Calls, you can know exactly who’s in it,” the Facebook-owned Instant Messaging app said in a blog post.
If a call comes in before the new update and it is not seen then you need to ask the people in the call to join the call later. But with the new update, you will be able to automatically join the call even if you do not see it when you call. If the call could not be taken earlier, the people in the call had to be texted to add. This has often led to people missing out on group calls.
The new feature also offers the option to join only if you want to join a group call. The new feature allows users to skip an existing call if there is any rush and to rejoin if other people on that call remain the same after the rush. This is a very helpful update. This helps to make the calling feature even better.
Joining calls will soon be available on all Android and iOS devices with the latest update. It also makes group calls easier than ever. WhatsApp has also announced that users will receive a new notification layout when they invite them to a call. WhatsApp’s new feature is very useful as it pays attention to bring features that attract users with each update.
When inviting users to a group call, users now see two options. These two options are ‘Join’ and ‘Ignore’. Clicking on Join will direct you to the call. Selecting Ignore will move the call to the Calls tab in the app. If you want to join the call later you can go to the ‘Calls’ tab (the layer on the right-hand side of the WhatsApp main screen) and join the call.
