Apple has announced a new service program for users with audio problems from the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro iPhones. Apple has commented that a small percentage of 6.1-inch devices, including the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, will experience audio issues.
Calls may experience audio issues, and many users have already reported similar issues with their iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Apple said that iPhones made in October 2020 and April 2021 are more likely to face this problem. However, this new service program will replace the damaged earpiece on your phone for free.
Users can repair their Apple devices at Apple or by any Apple Authorized Service Center for free. Only the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are part of this new service program. However, the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Maxx models are not part of this program.
To check your smartphone’s earpiece, first, find an Apple Authorized Store and make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store. You can also contact Apple Support to configure mail-in service through the Apple Repair Center. Don’t forget to back up your iPhone to iCloud or computer before donating your iPhone for this service.
