In Maharashtra and Gujarat, the Rs 49 plan has reduced the price to 14 days, replacing the previous 28 days. V customers now have to pay Rs 79 for a 28-day plan at the locations mentioned. Changes to prepaid plans will soon be rolled out across the country. Data benefits of ‘Business Plus’ postpaid plans for Airtel Enterprise customers have recently been reduced.
There are indications that telecom companies are improving their cash generation to pay their outstanding gross domestic product (AGR). Total revenue arrears of Vodafone Idea and Airtel till March 22 were Rs 9,000 crore and Rs 4,100 crore respectively.
