• Future Of Robotics Engineering In India

Robotics engineering gained initial recognition as a sub-branch of mechanical engineering, but now this mode has a different place in the engineering world. Through this, work is done on the development of automatic machines, which can perform their functions with human-like functionality. The purpose of building such machines is to protect humans from risky activities. Robotics engineering works on designing, manufacturing and developing robot operating techniques.

A computerized control technique is used to operate the robot, which is based on the synergy of sensors and information processors. The more advanced this computer-based technology is, the greater the functionality of the robot.

Research work and development in the field of robotic engineering has greatly increased the utility of robots. The use of robots has become common in defense related activities, medical operations and business needs.

Designing robots and developing computerized applications for them is a major job of a robotic engineer. In this work they have to take care of the need of people/enterprises (who need robots). This requirement determines the design, sensor, processor, material and size of the components. In addition, the engineer has to inspect the electronic parts fitted in the robot, test the robot and find its technical flaws. He disengages / reassembles the robot as well as trains the technician for servicing the robot.

    Major course

    Diploma in robotics
    BE in Robotics Engineering
    B.Tech in Robotics
    BE in Advanced Robotics
BE in Robotics and Automation Engineering
    B Tech in mechanics engineering
ME / MTech in Automation & Robotics
ME / MTech in Robotics Engineering

    Bachelor course

Students who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects can take BE or B.Tech course in Robotic Engineering. The four-year course is admitted through the entrance examination.
For academic session 2013-14, JEE (Mains) and JEE (Advanced) have been made the basis of admission to major engineering institutes. All the state (NIT, triple IT etc.) and private sector engineering institutes will fill their seats from the merit list of JEE (Mains). At the same time, the engineering seats of IITs will be filled on the basis of JEE Mains and Advanced Examination. The marks of 12th have also been given preference in these examinations.

    Masters course

One can get admission in master course after passing Bachelor degree course in engineering branches like robotics, computer science, mechanical or instrumentation etc. Based on the entrance gate score in engineering institutes conducting master’s course

Apart from working in government organizations like DRDO, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and ISRO, there are also many job opportunities in private companies engaged in manufacturing and research activities in the robotics sector. There are several private robotics companies in the country including Tata Advanced Systems, Kuka Robotics, Hi-Tech Robotic Systems Limited and Perry Limited, which employs robotics professionals every year. As the interest of students in this field increases, the branch of robotics engineering is also starting in engineering educational institutions, so the opportunities to work as lecturers are also increasing rapidly.
    the wages

Bachelor’s degree holders in robotics engineering are initially appointed by private companies at a salary of Rs 30 to 35 thousand per month. This is easily increased by twenty-five percent after taking a Masters course or increasing experience. Along with the monthly salary, many kinds of allowances are also available on appointment in government sector research institutes.
